In November 2024 Vivien Bammert has joined the CRYPTO group as a researcher and Ph.D. student. Her background is in algebra, coding theory, and code-based cryptography. She holds a M.Sc. in mathematics from the University of Zurich.

Annalisa Cimatti, also mathematician, graduated with an M.Sc. degree from Università Roma Tre and has joined as a researcher and Ph.D. student in November. She is interested in secure distributed protocols, has previously worked on CBDCs, and was involved in designing threshold cryptographic schemes together with the Bank of Italy.
