About me
I’m a first-year Ph.D. student in the Cryptology and Data Security Group at the University of Bern. My main research interests are distributed cryptography, generalized trust, all aspects of coding theory applications; especially for security in distributed systems and code-based cryptography.
Before joining the University of Bern, I obtained a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the University of Zurich. In my master thesis, I focused on the security of algebraic geometry codes in code-based cryptography. In doing so, I learned how algebraic function field methods provide solutions in both coding theory and code-based cryptography by considering a filtration attack.
