About me
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Cryptology and Data Security Group at the University of Bern. My work sits at the intersection of distributed systems, game theory, and blockchain security.
I am interested in how incentive-aware models change the behavior and guarantees of distributed protocols, especially in consensus settings. A central direction in my current research is to study when economic incentives align (or fail to align) with protocol-level security goals.
Research interests
- Consensus protocols
- Game-theoretic analysis of distributed protocols
- Rational vs. Byzantine behavior in security models
- Cryptographic and cryptoeconomic protocol security
